Welcome!
This site strives to be a comprehensive guide to SAP Security and Authorizations. Though a search in google returns any number of references on security, the number of sites dealing exclusively with SAP security are few and far between. This is a personal site maintained solely by me. I intend to update it regularly with more information, links and other online resources. Feel free to look around and make use of any of the resources. I would be glad if any of information presented in the following pages helps you in learning SAP security.
This is by far the best site for SAP Security….great work….
Thanks! Glad that you like it.
Hi Aninda, Pretty impressive work 🙂
New beginners can have a complete understanding in SAP Security Concepts.
Great work!!
Hey Aninda
I just wanted to find out if you are planning on writing about Time Logic and Period of responsibility any time soon….Thanks
Hi Aaina,
The text in all the articles in this blog have been written from scratch to make them more accessible than standard SAP materials. At least such has been my intent. I don’t believe that I can explain the concepts of period of responsibility and time logic in simpler terms than the standard documentation. Hence, I am not planning on an article on time logic. Please refer to the standard SAP documentation at “http://help.sap.com/saphelp_470/helpdata/en/d0/b9b83b5b831f3be10000000a114084/content.htm” for details.

Aninda
Useful page. Can you name simmilar valuable blogs dealing with SAP Auth.?
Thanks,
Gellert
Do a google search for “SAP Security”. You will find a huge number of references. More than blogs, I have found the SAP SDN forums and SAP help to be very useful to answer queries. Both of these two can be accessed through the external links section in the opening screen (bottom right) of this blog. Hope this helps!

Aninda
Hi, Thanks for your posts on sap sec, they were very helpful. When u get time could you please provide info about SAP GRC.
Thanks
Raj
Hi Raj,
The problem with GRC is to get the screenshots. I don’t presently have access to GRC and won’t be able to add the screenshots. Just a written article is not going to help anyone too much.

Aninda

Hi Jannis,
I do intend to continue the blog. But finding the time to update it is proving to be difficult as this is something that I essentially do in my free time.
Thanks,
Aninda
